Speaking of organic, doesn't look like Brooklyn is going to be home to another super whole foods.
Whole Foods Market Inc. said that its third-quarter net income dropped more than 30 percent largely because of costs associated with its acquisition of Wild Oats and a tough economy that hurt consumer spending.
Its shares sank in after-hours trading as the company also drastically lowered its outlook for 2009, suspended its dividend and said it would open fewer stores next year. I guess we will continue to lug our groceries from the whole foods in the city...sorry Brooklynites

I was told they are opening on Monday, I'll pop by tomorrow (Mon) and see if the store is open for business.
Got off a stop early to see if Wolfberry was open. There's no sign and no place on MXB btwn Decatur & MacDonough that looks like it's going to open. What's the deal?
Yeah, I past by there today and was told they would open on Thursday. We will see.
