CORCORAN COMES TO BEDSTUY

So, apparently the word on the street is, Barbara Corcoran founder of
"The Corcoran Group" has purchased a townhouse on Stuyvesant Ave
btwn Chauncey Street and Bainbridge Street for $1.460 million. Well, like my uncle
says..."if you can buy some land...do it! cuz they're not making anymore".

one cannot help but to notice the change happening in bedstuy, I don't mind just as long people dont start trying to tell me what i should or shouldn't be doing with my property. I've been here long enough to have some sort of say.

I think it's always good to have people in high places.

I'm glad for all this gentrification, I think it's great. Having a mixture of race is what NY is all about.

I think there is too much talk about gentrification, who gives a crap with all the other stuff going on in the world...you think people care that this person bought a house on stuyvesant ave? It's her money or whoever money whatever!!! as long as she is not selling drugs or bringing down the neighborhood. Who gives a s@#!

Gentrification is sometimes good.. better schools, crime is lower, better services, more money in the neighborhood.. Welcome anyone that helps improve our area..

I agree with Wilson, things do start to get better when gentri. arrives in certain areas. I've seen it time and time again.
