"OUT WITH THE OLD & IN WITH THE NEW" quality of life report

Take a walk down Malcolm X Blvd. between Decatur St and MacDonough St. In between, Thompson Interior Design store (373 Decatur St) and the beauty salon...you will notice that a couple of abandoned store fronts have been given a creative face lift.

Rae McGrath, owner of - Brooklynite Gallery (334 Malcolm X Blvd) and 5-7 kids from the neighborhood gave the metal gates a boost of color (with permission of course). So great job to all of the kids, to Rae and the parents for letting their children be apart of something creative and positve in our neighborhood.
